Warfield

Andrew Warfield joined the Mid Texas Symphony as principal horn in 2021, and has also been associate principal horn in the San Antonio Symphony since 2018. A Tennessee native, Andrew earned his Bachelor of Music degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he frequently played with the Nashville Symphony and in the Nashville recording studios. Andrew had further graduate studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has also performed with the Houston Symphony, Memphis Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, WB studios in Los Angeles, and the Pacific Symphony in Orange County, CA where he served as Fourth Horn for the 2016-2017 season. Andrew currently resides in San Antonio where he maintains an active teaching studio and, when not playing the horn, enjoys baking, gardening, and playing with his cat, Franklin.
