New Braunfels and Seguin are remarkable places. We used to be the two smallest cities in the United States that sponsor and support their own professional symphony orchestra. Your area is the second fastest-growing region in the nation. Having a professional symphony is an important indicator of the quality of life in Seguin and New Braunfels.

That quality is sustained by the tireless work of hundreds of unpaid volunteers for the Mid-Texas Symphony and other organizations. We volunteer because we care – about our community, about our children, and about the quality of life they will experience. For example, for the past 32 years the Mid-Texas Symphony has provided free concerts for school children. Each year, 4,400 enthusiastic children in our area are introduced to the joys of great music.

Communities like Seguin and New Braunfels constitute the heartland of America and nurture much of what is best in our culture. We urge your support for our distinctive musical, cultural, and educational initiatives with a gift of any amount.
